Hi, I’m Jodie, the baker behind Layers of Love Cakes.

My love for baking began at home, creating birthday cakes for my daughter and treats for friends and family. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion, and before I knew it, I was turning my kitchen creations into something much bigger.

Today, Layers of Love Cakes is a fully insured, council-approved bakery offering everything from fresh cupcakes and gooey brownies to bespoke celebration and wedding cakes. I’ve recently expanded with the addition of my very own cake shed, giving me more space to create, grow, and take on even more exciting projects. I’m always learning new skills and developing new ideas, and I’ll be introducing additional services in 2026 — with some exciting surprises in the works.

My two children are my biggest inspiration and the reason behind everything I do. Building this business allows me to do what I love while working towards a better future for them.
